Why ART 4 ALS
ART 4 ALS is a DMV-based arts and fundraising event hosted by Extended Hugs. Created in honor of a father whose initials were A.R.T. — and who lost his battle with ALS in 2006 — this celebration reflects a lifelong belief in the power of creativity, community, and resilience.
Bringing together artists, athletes, and families, ART 4 ALS raises vital support for those navigating ALS today. The majority of proceeds assist families through Extended Hugs, while a portion contributes to ALS research efforts within the broader DMV community.
